About Rooskin:

Based out of Southend, Essex, UK, Rooskin is a five-piece indie-pop band known for their blend of psychedelic and surf-infused sounds. 

The band formed in 2018, with Rob Humm and Matt Wallace, who had been playing together since school, joining forces with drummer Felix Foilleret. Later, they added Buddy Caderni on keys and Pete Anderson on bass and production, after meeting during European tours. 

Rooskin draws inspiration from a variety of artists, including The War on Drugs, Twin Peaks, Real Estate, Mac Demarco, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Tame Impala. Their music aims to evoke a sense of summertime, with warm synths, hazy guitars, and nostalgic melodies. They describe their sound as a "big melting pot of influences," creating a unique blend of psych-pop, indie-pop, and surf rock.
